George Edward Parks, Jr., 47, of Lenoir City, passed away suddenly Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and was employed by Vytron. George was a loving father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George E. Parks Sr. and Linda Parks; and by his sister, Kim Parks.

He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Parks of Knoxville; his son, Ethan Parks of Lenoir City; his grandson, Avi Landan Parks; his brother, Steve Parks of Ringgold, Ga.; his sisters, Donna Parks of Clinton and Angie Parks of Harriman; and by several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Memorial services will follow at 8 p.m. with the Rev. David Thompson officiating.
