Steve Colvin, 60, of Powder Springs, Ga., formerly of Lenoir City, passed away Friday, Nov. 6, 2009.
A native of Tennessee, Mr. Colvin lived in Powder Springs, Ga. for the past 37 years. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad after 28 years of employment, and was a member of the Loudon United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Atkins Colvin; his daughter, Maria Noles and husband, Lee; his son, Steven Colvin and wife, Darlene, all of Powder Springs, Ga.; six grandchildren, Parker, Anna, Cody, Kaitlyn, Caroline and Kensey; his brothers, Johnny Colvin and wife, Anne of Dallas, Ga. and Richard Colvin and wife, Connie of Loudon; and by his step-brother, Robert Cassady and wife, Barbara of Louisville.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Click Funeral Home. Family and friends will gather at Click Funeral Home by 10:30 Monday morning and proceed to Loudon County Memorial Gardens for 11 a.m. graveside services.
