Despite fighting hard against Catholic last week, the Lenoir City Panthers (1-5, 0-3) dropped their fifth game of the season against the Knoxville private school.
Now, the Panthers will head back on the road to try for their second win of the season as they travel to Knoxville West. The Rebels (2-3, 1-2) have had their share of struggles this year, dropping games to Maryville 38-17, Farragut 18-11 and Fulton 14-13.
They have, however, defeated Hardin Valley 29-6 and William Blount 28-26. The Panthers' only win this year came at home against Seqouyah, but they also played well at Kingston. The Panthers have yet to win a district game since the prior realignment.
Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. Friday night at West.
