The Loudon Redskins (4-2, 1-2) are building confidence as they head to Sweetwater to face off with a Wildcat team that has had many struggles this season.
The Redskins have won two in a row after dropping games to Alcoa and CAK, as they've defeated Bradley Central and rolled over Stone Memorial in the past two weeks. Sweetwater, on the other hand, has gotten off to a 1-5 start, with its only win coming against Meigs County, 14-12.
The Wildcats have lost to Tellico Plains 42-0, Rockwood 42-0, Greenback 48-14, Polk County 43-6 and East Ridge 41-0. Sweetwater is no longer a member of Loudon's district, but the game is still important as the Redskins are seeking a playoff berth.
Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. Friday night in Sweetwater.
