The Lenoir City Youth Football Organization (LCYFO) swept three games with Midway Saturday, allowing just 12 points on the day.

Midway 0,
LCYFO Crickets 6
The first game of the day needed overtime for a victor to be decided and it was the Lenoir City Crickets starting on the right foot with a 6-0 win.
After four scoreless quarters, Lenoir City's Jake Dallas finally found the end zone in the extra period to clinch the youngest Panthers' win.
The stout LC defensive effort was led by Tyson Wood and Tucker Yancey.

Midway 0,
LCYFO Hoppers 16
The scoreless streak continued into the second game Saturday, as the Lenoir City Hoppers recorded the second shut out of the day in defeating Midway 16-0.
Gabe Williams and Preston Adams scored a touchdown each for the Panthers.  Williams also accounted for both conversions, as he found Devin Noah in the end zone for the first and Adams in the end zone for the second.
Lenoir City's defense was nearly impenetrable, holding Midway's offense to minus 105 yards of total offense.  Bryant Bingham led the defense with seven tackles and Bailey Brockwell added four.

Midway 12,
LCYFO Cutters 20
Midway finally found the end zone in the third game of the day, but it was in a losing effort as Lenoir City pulled out a 20-12 win.
Joe Pace led the LC offense with 109 yards on the ground and a touchdown.  Dylan Russell added 98 yards and a pair of scores.
Cody Townson paced the Lenoir City defense with six tackles and Landon Sprunger added five.

Midway does not have a Juniors team, so Lenoir City got the win by default.

The Panthers will return to action Saturday when they travel to Dukes Field to take on the Loudon Quarterback Club.  The first of four games is set to kick off at 4 p.m.
