For the second time this season, the Loudon Quarterback Club (LQC) and the Lenoir City Youth Football Organization (LCYFO) met in the little league version of the Battle of the Bridge.  This time the programs faced off on Dukes Field in Loudon, but the results were the same as the two sides split four games Saturday.

LCYFO Crickets 12,
LQC Crickets 6
The opening game of the day took until overtime to settle and it was a Justin Womack touchdown run that vaulted the LC Crickets to a 12-6 win.
Loudon took the lead first when Noah Burnette scampered in for a 37 yard touchdown late in the first quarter.
That 6-0 advantage held firm until the fourth quarter, when Lenoir City's Jake Dallas found some running room and burst into the end zone to tie the game.
In OT, Loudon failed to score, but Womack's touchdown sealed it.
Burnette led the Loudon Crickets in rushing with 92 yards and a touchdown on the ground.  Donavon Blankinship led the defense with eight knockdowns, while Burnette and McKenzie Lunsford recorded five tackles each.
Womack, along with scoring the game-winning TD, led the Lenoir City defense with six tackles.  Micah Bryant and Tucker Yancey added two each.

LCYFO Hoppers 6,
LQC Hoppers 14
Lenoir City grabbed the lead early in the second game, but it was Loudon coming back late as the Redskins scored twice in the fourth to win 14-6.
Bryant Bingham punched in Lenoir City's lone score of the day in the first quarter and the 6-0 lead lasted until late in the fourth period.
With 4:30 left to play, though, Mason Small tied the game with a two-yard touchdown push.
Three and a half minutes later, Small again found a seam and raced 48 yards for the go-ahead score.  Cameron Baker completed the conversion attempt to secure Loudon's eight-point win.
Bingham led the LC offense with 51 yards rushing and a touchdown.  He also paced the defense with 10 tackles.
Small led the way for the Loudon ground attack, carrying 10 times for 97 yards and two scores.  His seven tackles also led the hosting defense.

LCYFO Cutters 14,
LQC Mustangs 30
For the third game in a row, the team that scored first lost the game as Lenoir City dented the scoreboard first, but Loudon came away with the 30-14 victory.
Dylan Russell punched in the the opening score of the game for the visiting Cutters, but Loudon quickly answered with a 15-yard Noah Lowe run with 39 seconds left in the opening period.
Colten Brown added the conversion and Loudon led 8-6 after one.
Lenoir City retook the lead in the second when Russell notched his second TD of the game and added his own conversion to put LC up 14-8.

Lowe answered again, however, scoring from 50 yards out to tie the game.  The tie was broken seconds later, though, when Brown added his second conversion of the game.
Loudon expanded its lead nearly four minutes later when Lowe once again found paydirt from 48 yards out and Jacob Crabtree this time added the conversion.
Heading to the break, Loudon held a 24-14 lead.
Neither team scored in the third, but in the fourth a Crabtree five-yard run sealed the Loudon win.
Lowe led the Redskin offense with 155 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries.  Joshua Silvey led the Loudon defensive effort with eight tackles.
Russell keyed the Lenoir City ground game with 144 yards rushing, two touchdowns and a conversion.  Cody Townson paced the Panther defense with six tackles and a forced fumble.

LCYFO Juniors 24,
LQC Indians 12
The fireworks began in the second quarter in the final game of the day and when the scoring stopped, Lenoir City had prevailed 24-12.
Both teams were scoreless in the first, but Lenoir City was able to take a 12-6 lead into the break.
Macklin Russell scored the lone touchdown of the half for Loudon on a 16 yard dash.
Lenoir City's scores came on runs from Caleb Wilson and Jaylond Woods.
Joshua Jackson scored once in the third to keep Loudon close, but Wilson tallied three touchdowns on the day for Lenoir City.

Wilson paced the Panther offense with 134 yards and three scores, while Woods added 35 yards and a TD.
Zach Johnson led the LC defense with 10 tackles, while Josh Lonneker finished with seven.
Russell was the offensive leader for Loudon, rushing for 47 yards and a score on the day.  He also intercepted a pass.
Trent Berry led the Redskin defense with six tackles.
Both squads will be in action again Saturday when the LQC travels to Benton for the regular season finale against Polk County.  The LCYFO will finish its regular season at home against Vonore.  The LQC games are set to begin at 4 p.m., while the LCYFO is set to kick off at 3 p.m.
