Greenback will finish up its regular season Friday night with, perhaps, its toughest matchup of the season. The 'Kees (3-6, 1-3) will host District 3(A) rival Grace Christian.
The Rams (8-1, 4-0) lost their first game of the season 29-13 to CAK, but have since won eight straight by a margin of 261-84. They've defeated Chattanooga Grace Baptist Academy 44-22, Tellico Plains 24-7, Gibbs 28-21, Midway 35-0, Rockwood 28-7, Taft Youth Center 54-8, Harriman 35-7 and Johnson County 13-12.
The Grace Christian offense has been ignited on the ground by tailback Chris Campbell, who has rushed for 967 yards and 17 touchdowns. He averages 9.2 yards per carry. The Rams are led through the air by quarterback Jordan Hopkins who has completed 54 percent of his passes with an average of nine yards per pass. He's thrown nine touchdowns and seven interceptions. Hopkins' favorite target has been Eric Williams, as he's caught 30 passes for 615 yards and five touchdowns.
Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. Friday night at Cooper Field in Greenback.
