The Lenoir City girls' volleyball team fell twice Thursday night to South-Doyle and Sevier County, despite being competitive in three of the four sets.

The Lady Panthers dropped their first set to South-Doyle 25-2, but responded with a 25-14 loss in the second set.  In the next match with the Lady Smoky Bears, Lenoir City very nearly pulled off the first set – but ultimately lost it 25-22.

They dropped the final set 25-15.  The Lady Panthers took part in the Grace Christian Tournament Saturday and their next match will be Monday at home against Clinton.

They'll then travel to William Blount Tuesday.
